Shang Dynasty Elephant-Shaped Zun
This bronze zun or wine vessel is shaped in the form of an elephant with uplifted trunk. The tip of the trunk is comprised of a crouching tiger and phoenix head. The surface patterns also include cloud and thunder, kui and ogre mask design; ca. 16th-11th century B.C.
