Viking Petroglyphs

                                                                          Viking Petroglyphs

Trondheim, Norway: Carved during the bronze age, these newly-discovered carvings are examined by a worker near the Norweigan city of Trondheim.Formerly covered by a layer of moss, the carvings cover a large area of rock and depict scenes from the lives of the Vikings. This procession is believed to have religious significance, with the smaller figures above the stick-like men thought to be gods. The two "sun-crosses" and carved footsteps are known to be Viking religious symbols.
