The upper roundel of a carved wooden church door from the Valthyofsstadir. The upper part depicts an armored warrior, with shield and sword, on a horse. Two large cat-like creatures are also represented, one curls before a crucifix, the other follows the rider. A bird perches on the horses head. In the lower part the horse leaps and the warrior plunges his sword into a large mythical beast. One of the cat-like creatures is still present and the bird flies behind the warrior's head.
