A Kabuki actor by Tsunejiro Yoshitaki 1855

 A favorite sequence of prints included designs on the themes of "Snow, Moon and Flowers." This luxurious print of on a dark night represents "moon." The moon is printed with silver pigment that has oxidized, while other expensive metallic pigments have been used in the robes.
