Ruined Sarcophagus, San Agustin Archaeological Park
A sculptured stone sarcophagus lies in a tomb in the San Agustin Archaeological Park, in the Colombian highlands. The site is one of a dozen or so ceremonial centers in the upper gorge of the Magdalena River, believed to have flourished between the 6th and 14th centuries.
