Animals at The Belvedere Palace Menagerie, Vienna ca. 1731-1740
Ostriches and other birds among the sculpture pieces at the menagerie at the Belvedere Palace. The palace was built by Prince Eugene following his successful campaigns on behalf of the Austrian Emperor against the Turks and also in northern Italy.
