Celtic Coin. Musees de Rennes
Low alloy Celtic coin probably used by the Venti of Armorica, France, and dating from the first half of the 1st century BC. The reverse shows a human headed horse seemingly guided by a person waving a torque, who replaces the charioteer in the Greek original. The horse is leaping over a boar, an emblem of warlike strength  the Celts.

                                      Gold coin of the Celtic Ambiani tribe of northern Gaul (France).

                                  It shows Apollo with laurelled hair and dates from the 2nd century B.C.
